4.19.05 Dem, Rep, Big Biz Death Wish Global warming
I, John Doe Dimslow, have been planting garden.
I know, I know, everyone says it's too early to do so here in these Appalachian wilds. But what with Global warming, Global pollution, Global frustration and Global insanity of all sorts, the way I figure it, if I were to figure it, it might actually be way too late to get the corn, beans, peas, tomatoes, radish, fennel, lettuce, onion, pepper, broccoli and whatall out.
No, using the Dimslow intuition I sense it isn't too late and it isn't too early to get on with it. And getting on with it is what it's all about. Any mistakes made today, will be taken up tomorrow. It's not like I don't think these things through anyhow. Too early to get the garden in? Global warming, people! (At least here in these hills, this year. Well, at least right now. And if a frost two or three weeks from now might do the garden in, hell, the old Dimslow back can just get out the seeds again.)
But this warming of the globe has got to be stopped or the gardening and civilization with it will disappear forever.
And what are the Dems and Reps doing about it? And big business? The usual death wish. It doesn't take a Dimslow to see that....
Let's protect the gardens, folks - especially this one big blue-green marble of a garden we call Earth.
